The Great Seal of the United States is used for the authentication of US federal documents. The reverse of the seal is a prominent feature on the 1 dollar bill. Its first public use being in 1782, the seal was accepted to be a part of the dollar bill in 1935. The seal was been criticized for having in particular, Masonic roots and possibly alluding to the New World Order.
